This is the third year of our involvement with the church’s Christmas Tree Festival.

We decorated a tree to raise funds for their charity ,Bloodwise ( formerly leukaemia research).

The Nativity and crib that several members had been involved in making had pride of place at the front of the church and received nothing but favourable comments.

Pauline Fallon and the vicar Alison Crooks were most grateful for the work and enterprise involved.

Our involvement in the raffle was a donation of a rustic Rudolph. Proceeds amounted to £225.00.

Organisers at the church had the forethought to organise the attendance of a reporter from Radio Leeds and a  interview was broadcast on Sunday morning.  No doubt BWTC got a mention in the proceedings.

A nativity scene at the front of the church.

Nativity against the backdrop of the organ. I should have enquirer what the hymns were.
